Learn how to dance Salsa!
Steps to turn into a real Salsa dancer:
Here you will find our recommendations to be a real Salsa dancer:
1 – Salsa Basic 1
In this class you will learn the basic figures and the philosophy of this Caribbean dancing style. All the Caribbean countries with exception of Cuba and Puerto Rico dance “Salsa Clásica”. Salsa Clásica is danced “on one” in a closed position with less figures and always with the music. The couple interprets a song every moment of the musical piece with its movements, steps and figures.

2 – Salsa Basic 2
In this course you will learn the basic figures of Salsa Cubana and Timba. This style is danced in Cuba and from there, it has conquered the whole world. Salsa Cubana is danced “on one” and in an open position with many figures, where the man and the woman move around an imaginary circle.

From now on you have the possibility to visit two classes parallel. This is a big advantage because you will learn faster, now that you practice more often. Besides Salsa intermediate we recommend to visit thiese classes: Son Cubano 1, Bachata 1. Furthermore, you can repeat the Salsa beginner class, which may be very important for men. The ability to lead is increased and moreover, you will get a better sense for the rhythm (please ask your dance instructor).
3 – Salsa Basic 3
Besides the structure of a Salsa song you also will learn to interpret a piece of music. Moreover, the new figures will allow you to dance in a more creative way and you will get to know at least six new figures of Salsa Cubana. On this level you will see how to mix both styles, Salsa Clásica and Salsa cubana. This gives you the possibility to dance in a free and creative way and will further help you to find your own style.
